• Notarial offices are competent to notarize legal contracts and declarations, and issue relevant deeds under Shariah principles and the law. Among such contracts and declarations are property conveyance, mortgages and their termination, corporate charters, acceptance of residential and agricultural land gifts, PoAs based on acknowledgment, dissolution or avoidance of PoAs, whether by the agent or the principal, guarantees and their dissolution, and distribution of inheritance by mutual consent among adults.
• Notarial offices are created and granted jurisdiction through a decision issued by the Minister of Justice.
• The Ministry of Justice has created mobile notarial offices to serve people with special needs and circumstances, such as patients, invalids, inmates, and the like. The notary visits the client at their residence and provides them with the service they need.
